What is a Compliance Program?

A Compliance Program

A compliance program is a rule enforcement system instituted in order to have businesses autonomously comply with fair trade related laws and regulations. CP is voluntarily pursued by companies in diverse ways according to their business type and personality.

Focusing on prevention rather than the post-handling of a violation of the Fair Trade Act, Hanwha Galleria proposes clear standards of conduct so that employees do not violate the Fair Trade Act involuntarily. Based on credit and reliability with our partners, Hanwha Galleria promotes transparent management and endeavors to maintain our partnerships in a genuine sense that contributes to our mutual development.

On March 26, 2002, Hanwha Galleria declared its compliance with fair trade protocols at a declaration ceremony. Ever since, we have made continuous efforts for autonomous compliance with fair trade by organizing a compliance committee and administering education, inspection, monitoring and sanctioning activities for CP operations.
